JACKSONVILLE, FL - A mixture of two popular erectile dysfunction medications has lead to the untimely death of a local man. Reginald Grunger, 52, apparently lost his balance and fell off the deck of a cruise ship while vacationing with his wife. Cruise line officials confirmed that Grunger had ingested large amounts of both Viagra and ExtenZe before the accident.
"They [the Grungers] were celebrating their 30th anniversary." said Plathenau Khandarahal, spokesman for Carnival Cruise Lines. "Ms. Grunger asked her husband to leave and 'go get some air', and he never returned."
Witnesses said that Grunger appeared to be out of sorts. "He was definitely having trouble walking - we thought he was drunk." said Tiffany Marscomb, who was walking on deck when Grunger fell. "He looked like he was about to urinate over the side, then he just went right over like he had an anchor tied to him."
The Coast Guard called off the search after only three hours. "The doctors tell us that the amount of those drugs that he took would prevent him from floating." said Coast Guard Captain Russ Hillman. "But there's very little chance he even survived the fall - your looking at a 200 foot drop and then landing, well, face first."
