HOLLYWOOD, FL - The national convention of the Horse Faced Women Lovers of America today released its annual list of the 10 most beautiful celebrities during a raucous ceremony downtown. The event, widely known in Hollywood circles as the 'Mr. Ed Awards', has received an unusual amount of press coverage this year. Members attribute the attention to Big Brown chasing the Triple Crown and the success of Sarah Jessica Parker's movie 'Sex and the City'. See the list here.
"She [Parker] is the horse face poster girl right now." said Jerry Timmons, President of HFWLA. "She's made our top ten list eight years in a row."
Julia Roberts, another regular on the list, extends the longest active streak by making her fourteenth straight appearance. "Julia has features that are just one-of-a-kind." said Timmons. "You won't find another mouth that big unless it's got a bridle in it." Absent from the list this year are Cher, who holds the record with twenty seven appearances, and Ann Coulter, who members increasingly speak of as "just mean looking".
The event kicks off Horse Faced Women Awareness Month, with several nationwide activities planned, including beauty contests, chili cook-offs, and of course - barrel racing. "Our ultimate goal is to remove the stigma of being a horse face." said Timmons. "And with brave women like Sarah Jessica Parker out there showing her mug to millions every day, we'll achieve that goal."
