| Clemens Denies Dating Hannah Montana |
ORLANDO, FL - Former baseball great Roger Clemens today denied allegations he is dating Miley Cyrus, a.k.a. Disney's Hannah Montana. The allegations stem from excerpts released from an upcoming book by Jose Canseco, entitled 'Juiced 2 - Supersized'. The book, due out this summer, reportedly contains several other embarrassing revelations about the former pitching star.
"I've never even met Miss Montana, although I do watch her show regularly." said Clemens, via a written press release. "But I would like to apologize for some other unrelated mistakes I've made in my personal life."
The book claims the two met during spring training prior to the Yankees' 2007 season. Canseco says he introduced them to each other at Disney post-production party, and then injected them both with steroids. Canseco claims as proof of the incident that Montana had a mild reaction to the injection, eventually turning her hair brown.
The book also reportedly contains photos of the pair dining at an Orlando Chuck-E-Cheese, backstage at a Jonas Brothers concert, and clothes shopping at
Club Libby Lu. Miss Montana could not be reached for comment.
Other potentially embarrassing items regarding Clemens rumored to be in Canseco's book are: a steroid black market scheme involving the female American Gladiators, an alleged two year affair with
RuPaul, and Clemens' purchase of a day care center in 1996. The book will be available on July 4th.
