Survey - Even The NFL Has Homely Cheerleaders

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - In recent months several sports publications and websites have sponsored surveys for readers to vote on the NFL's best looking cheerleaders. While the results varied from poll to poll, few published results beyond the top ten, and none listed girls who received little or no votes. In an effort to raise awareness of girls forgotten by these polls, The Daily Redundancy has combined the results to recognize the NFL's 10 homeliest cheerleaders. See poll results HERE

The poll results clearly reveal that the cheerleading industry's dirty little secret regarding homely girls is standard policy in the NFL.

"There's always one on every squad." said one of the survey winners, who spoke with us on the condition of anonymity and that we not come any closer. "Even in high school, we always had a plain girl, a chubby girl or maybe a pimpley girl. We felt better letting them cheer with us."

NFL cheerleading officials and dance team coordinators have always denied that looks are the primary attribute used to select squad members. "We're looking for quality, wholesome girls who can dance well, entertain the crowd and represent the team at public appearances." said Rachel Lyndon-Skyles, Chief of Cheerleader Operations for the NFL. "If she just happens to be good looking, then that's a plus."
